Protection class 5 | fully insulated is clad with 60 mm thick sandwich panels. These panels have a thermal transmittance value of up to U = 0.38 W/m² K. This corresponds to simple insulation that keeps the heat outside in summer and the heat inside in winter. Nevertheless, temporary buildings cannot be compared with highly insulated buildings due to their temporary nature. If you are planning a permanent, energy-optimised hall, our SELECT steel buildings are suitable for this purpose.
Despite the thermal insulation, temporary buildings are only suitable for this purpose to a limited extent or temporarily due to their optimisation for temporary use. The Building Energy Act must be observed. This allows low insulation for tents and buildings with a planned service life of up to two years. The Workplace Directive must also be observed. According to this, specified temperatures must be reached for certain activities. The simpler the insulation, the higher the energy requirement to achieve the prescribed temperatures.
