Protection class 4 | partly insulated temporary buildings are very simply insulated. The sandwich panels used in the wall have a thickness of 40 mm (Aluflex) with a thermal transmittance value of U = 0.58 W/m²K or 60 mm (ALUFLEX.PLUS) with U = 0.38 W/m²K. The effective U-value of the combination of roof tarpaulin and insulated interior tarpaulin is approx. 0.79 W/m²K. If a higher level of insulation is required, we recommend switching to protection class 5 or building a permanent SELECT steel hall.

Standard interior tarpaulins consist of a PE-coated mesh fabric and are responsible for absorbing and draining condensation inside the hall. The light insulation of standard interior tarpaulins results from the static air layer between the outer and inner tarpaulin. The insulated interior tarpaulin, on the other hand, provides additional thermal insulation with a sewn-in fibre core.
