Warehouses for a mineral water manufacturer
Protection class 4 | partly insulated. Gerolsteiner Brunnen needed to quickly create additional storage capacity for the expansion of its compact warehouse. The company was not looking for a temporary solution, but a hall that would fulfil high logistical requirements, meet strict fire protection regulations and could be realised within a tight schedule.
Additional storage space was quickly required to ensure ongoing operations during the conversion work - including the demolition of two existing buildings from the 1980s. The temporary HALTEC BASIC temporary building is consistently designed to meet Gerolsteiner's requirements. Large roller shutter gates allow goods to be moved with 16-tonne forklifts - including high lift masts and several rows of pallets in a row. This means that an enormous amount of mineral water can be stored and retrieved at the same time.
Sophisticated fire protection measures
You might think that fire protection plays no role in the warehousing of water. Far from it, it was a central theme in the planning of this hall. In close consultation with the customer, HALTEC developed a coherent concept: melt-out window areas and smoke and heat extraction blinds support smoke extraction in the event of an emergency. In addition, a fire-resistant roof tarpaulin reduces the risk of fire flashover due to flying sparks. Thanks to all these measures, the strict official requirements were met in exemplary fashion.
Ready for operation in a short time
During the course of the project, HALTEC impressed with its fast response times, quick on-site appointments, rapid quotation preparation and smooth construction. Within just a few weeks, a customised warehouse was built that meets all technical, logistical and official requirements and reliably secures ongoing operations.
We received very good advice and support from HALTEC. The installation was quick and all our requirements - including those from the authorities - were implemented.

Efficient space gain
During the conversion work, the hall offers around 2,400 m² of storage space for pallets of mineral water.
Naturally bright
The translucent roof tarpaulins allow plenty of daylight into the hall - additional lighting is only necessary in the dark.
Large driveways
The large roller shutter gates allow storage and retrieval with 16-tonne forklifts and high lift masts.
Cost-effective anchoring
The hall was anchored to the existing tarmac surface with ground nails - without any additional foundations. This guarantees almost residue-free dismantling later on.
Reliable smoke extraction
The blinds open automatically in the event of a fire and enable controlled smoke extraction in an emergency.

- for short-term space gain
- predictable monthly costs
- no capital tied up – no loan
- variable for conversion/expansion
- optical condition: used
The longer you want to use your temporary building, the greater the advantages of buying it: the greatest possible customisability, coupled with high variability when converting or expanding.
- variable for conversion/expansion
- for longer service lives > 4 years
- only new components
- high investment costs
