Double-bayed warehouse for a Franconian pipe manufacturer

With a 2,400 m² cold storage hall, HALTEC created a lot of new storage space for a manufacturer of plastic pipes in Lower Franconia. The simply clad SELECT steel building offers top price-performance ratio for temperature-insensitive goods.

While searching for a new warehouse, the company became aware of HALTEC. The steel buildings in the SELECT series were particularly impressive due to their cost-effectiveness.

The cladding with single-skin trapezoidal sheet metal is inexpensive and does exactly what it is supposed to do: protect the stored goods from the weather and theft. Trapezoidal sheet metal with an anti-condensation fleece coating was installed in the hall roof. The fleece absorbs condensation and prevents it from dripping onto the goods below.

Customised equipment and hall design

Smooth movement of goods and people is ensured by two large roller shutter gates plus adjacent doors. Forklift trucks can enter and exit the hall without any problems. Additional doors are integrated on the side for the movement of people, which also serve as an escape route in the event of danger.

Light domes were installed in the trapezoidal sheet metal roof to ensure good visibility inside the warehouse. These illuminate the hall well with daylight and also save electricity for the lighting.
