Temporary tent halls for a car manufacturer
Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. An unexpected increase in storage requirements for vehicle production arose at an OPEL site. The customer was looking for a short-term, temporary storage solution. With the HALTEC rental concept, the desired hall complex of almost 14,000 m² was rented for six months.
When the storage bottleneck occurred in production, the car manufacturer was in the process of building a new industrial hall to expand the company. However, the construction project was not yet completed and ready to use at the time. HALTEC solved the problem with six large, double-aisled tent halls for rent and impressed with high quality, fast delivery and a fair price-performance ratio.
The BASIC tent halls, which were rented at short notice, offered great advantages:
- variable utilisation period: at the end of the rental period, Opel itself decided whether to return, extend the rental period or purchase the halls
- attractive conditions: hall rental price was regionally independent
- no capital commitment: Opel could use its capital for other investments during the rental period
- tax advantages: monthly rents are tax-deductible
- large storage & rental stock at HALTEC: marquee halls were quickly available for use
- HALTEC marquee halls in modular design: lots of storage space quickly and cheaply
HALTEC's large stock ensured fast delivery and the modular design of the hall allowed a quick assembly. In addition, there was no need for foundation work in advance, as the hall was anchored with ground pegs. Which saved a huge amount of time! When anchoring the tent halls, the ground pegs were simply hammered into the existing ground. This type of hall fastening not only ensured a quick assembly, but also virtually residue-free hall dismantling at the end of the rental period.
Important components for vehicle production were stored inside the hall. To provide optimum protection for these, the client opted for BASIC halls with protection class 3 including mobile heating. The rented tent halls provided excellent all-round protection - against external weather influences, condensation inside the hall, cold and theft.
HALTEC impressed us with its prices, service and quality. The order was processed quickly and professionally from the very first meeting on.
