Temporary vehicle hall for a volunteer fire brigade
Protection class 5 | fully insulated. There was not enough space in the existing Waldaschaff municipal fire station to accommodate all the vehicles. A larger new building is being planned - but there was no time to wait. A temporary solution had to be found, which HALTEC delivered in a very short time with a BASIC temporary building.
In just nine weeks after the order was received, a functional vehicle hall was built on the site that fulfils all of the fire service's requirements. Two electric roller shutter gates in the gable wall allow the vehicles to enter and exit quickly and easily - particularly crucial in the event of an emergency. A generous wall-strip windows provides sufficient natural light and a pleasant working environment during the day. The hall is also equipped with lighting that provides ideal lighting conditions at all times. A mobile hall heating system also ensures a pleasant indoor climate, especially in the cold months - perfect in combination with the hall panelling made of insulated sandwich panels.
Sustainable use guaranteed
Even after the new fire station has been built, the HALTEC BASIC temporary building in Waldaschaff will remain in use. The municipality will use it as a warehouse for the neighbouring building yard after the fire service vehicles have moved out. An additional roller shutter gate at the rear required for this subsequent use was already taken into account and installed during the planning stage. A great example of sustainable and flexible utilisation.
For the fire brigade in particular, every second counts in an emergency. The HALTEC hall with its roller shutter gates and well thought-out equipment is precisely tailored to our needs - it couldn't have worked out better.
