Temporary building for warehousing cables
Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. A cable manufacturer from Baden-Württemberg was faced with the challenge of quickly creating new storage space very close to the production building. The solution: a customised BASIC temporary building with ground peg anchoring, which can be used long-term and blends in perfectly with the existing appearance.
The cable manufacturer urgently needed additional storage space as external storage areas were being vacated. By opting for a temporary building from HALTEC, this problem was quickly solved. Built in the immediate vicinity of the production building, the new hall offers space for cable reels that are processed next door.
Safety anchoring thanks to ground nails
The new BASIC temporary building was anchored to an asphalt substructure using ground pegs. As no foundation is required for this type of anchoring, ground pegs anchoring is particularly cost-effective. If necessary, the hall can even be dismantled with virtually no residue.
Long-term use thanks to ground peg tensile test
A building application was required to allow the hall to be used in the long term. HALTEC provided the customer with comprehensive support: the inspection book with TÜV-certified statics and the ground peg tensile test carried out in advance convinced the building authority. As a result, a temporary building permit was granted for five years, which can optionally be extended for a further two years.
Visual integration and additional benefits
In addition to the functional aspects, the customer attached great importance to a uniform appearance. The trapezoidal profiles of the temporary building were therefore supplied in RAL 7016 anthracite grey to match the existing production building. The rain gutter was also finished in the same colour to round off the overall look.
