Storage tent with ballasting substructure
This heatable rapid assembly hall with ballasting was used by a local suburban train operator for storing and defrosting iced-up trains. The ballasting means that no ground anchoring of the rapid assembly hall is required. The tensioned interior tarpaulins mean that this hall with ballasting complies with protection class 3 - protected against condensation.
Interior tarpaulins tensioned down to the ground divert condensation, as well as offering a thermally insulating effect.
Mobile heaters ensure pleasant temperatures in the marquee hall.
If it is not possible to anchor the hall to the floor, ballasting with concrete weights is used instead.
