Snow load hall for a ladder manufacturer
Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. Depending on the geographical location, HALTEC supplies the optimum hall design. In this case, a snow load-safe temporary building, also known as a snow load hall, for a ladder manufacturer in Upper Bavaria.
As the name suggests, the snow load hall can safely withstand increased snowfall. HALTEC takes the regionally prevailing snow load zones into account in the structural design right from the hall planning stage. This was also the case with the new HALTEC hall project in the foothills of the Alps - the experienced HALTEC structural engineers planned for increased load-bearing capacity right from the start.
An increase in their incoming orders demanded a quick response from this company. HALTEC realised the stable BASIC temporary building quickly and reliably. As it was difficult to plan ahead in the long term, it was clear to the entrepreneur from the outset that he wanted to rent the snow load hall. The HALTEC rental concept allows the client to remain flexible - at the end of the rental period, he is free to return the hall, buy it or continue renting it.
If the snow load hall is no longer needed at the end of the rental period, the temporary building can be removed and returned to HALTEC with virtually no residue thanks to ground pegs anchoring.

Translucent and protective
The translucent tarpaulin roof not only ensures a bright hall interior, but also provides protection against dripping condensation.
High load capacity
Thanks to tested statics, HALTEC halls can safely withstand snow loads of up to 3.5 kN/m². The snow also slides off more easily on the smooth tarpaulin roof.
Easy access to the hall
The large gate in the hall gable also allows larger vehicles such as lorries to enter the hall safely.
Rent or buy temporary buildings?HALTEC BASIC
There are many advantages to not purchasing a temporary building yourself: in addition to short-term space gains without high financial investment, you retain full flexibility – with the option to purchase at a later date.
- for short-term space gain
- predictable monthly costs
- no capital tied up – no loan
- variable for conversion/expansion
- optical condition: used
The longer you want to use your temporary building, the greater the advantages of buying it: the greatest possible customisability, coupled with high variability when converting or expanding.
- variable for conversion/expansion
- for longer service lives > 4 years
- only new components
- high investment costs
Well advised. HALTEC.
