Insulated steel building as a warehouse for cardboard boxes

A cardboard packaging manufacturer from Thuringia needed more storage space for its products. Economic efficiency was a particular focus, so a simple HALTEC SELECT steel building without any frills was the ideal solution.

Space gain
2,044 m²

The cardboard packaging manufacturer was particularly keen to store its moisture-sensitive goods in a dry place, protected from the weather. The warehouse was therefore clad all round with 60 mm sandwich panels. This keeps heat, cold and moisture outside. Inside, the insulation also protects against condensation.

Three large roller shutter gates with radio remote control, four doors and five skylight domes round off this 2,044 m² steel building. In the event of fire, the NSHEVS system ensures smoke and heat extraction. During maintenance work on the roof, installed fall-through protection ensures greater safety.

The simple warehouse is anchored with pegs driven directly into the ground. This anchoring method saved the customer from having to construct expensive concrete foundations. A bitumen sheet on the floor forms a cost-effective floor connection for the hall.
