Vehicle hall for a building yard
A municipality in Lower Franconia has created additional space for its building yard with this storage hall for vehicles. The new hall from HALTEC covers an area of 468 m² at the municipality's building yard.
The cold storage hall is clad with trapezoidal profiles. The underside of the trapezoidal profiles is coated with fleece to prevent dripping condensation in the storage shed. The additional roof load for a photovoltaic system is statically taken into account for the pent roof of the storage hall. HALTEC is prequalified for public contracts and registered in the official register of prequalified companies (AVPQ).
The local authority opted for numerous equipment details that perfectly complement the storage hall at the building yard:
- Two SHEV roof light domes which, together with the wall-strip windows, act as smoke vents in the event of a fire and bring natural light into the hall.
- The five large industrial sectional gates, which can be conveniently opened and closed by radio remote control from the vehicle.
- Linear fluorescent luminaires equipped with energy-saving LED lights that can be switched on in the dark.
Robust dowel anchoring and construction
The HALTEC shelter was permanently anchored to a concrete foundation using dowels. The connections of the steel structure to the foundation are "articulated". This type of anchoring is considerably less cost-intensive than, for example, anchoring using sleeve foundations.

Multifunctional wall-strip windows
The wall-strip windows provide the storage hall with sufficient daylight and also ensure smoke extraction in the event of a fire.
Simple hall entrances
Five large industrial sectional gates provide access to the storage hall. The gates can be opened and closed easily and conveniently from the vehicle using the radio remote control.
Dome rooflight with NSHEVS system
Two skylight domes with NSHEVS are installed in the roof area of the storage hall. In the summer months, warm air can escape from the storage shed via the open skylight domes.
Safety through escape door
The escape door installed in the gable end is equipped with an illuminated escape route emergency unit. This makes escape routes much easier to recognise in the event of smoke in the event of a fire.
Well advised. HALTEC.
