Large warehouse for a manufacturer of drive technology
Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. An Upper Franconian manufacturer of drive technology has expanded its warehouse area with a HALTEC warehouse for rent. The goods can now be stored safely and protected from the weather on 1,463 m² of newly acquired storage space at a top price-performance ratio.
In addition to the favourable long-term rent, the client benefits from a low snow load at the warehouse location. This meant that the rental hall could be assembled in a larger grid of 5.0 metres instead of the usual 3.0 metres. Much to the company's delight, this meant that both materials and costs were lower.
Renting a large warehouse - ideal for temporary storage
The temperature-insensitive products do not place any great demands on the rented warehouse. The main thing is that it should be safe and dry - that's all the client required. As far as the protection of goods within the rented hall is concerned, condensation protection plays a decisive role. In non-insulated halls, such as this large warehouse, unloved condensation forms on the hall roof due to different outside and inside temperatures. The dripping water threatens to leave unsightly marks on the stored goods or, in unfavourable cases, even cause lasting damage to the goods. To minimise the risk, special trapezoidal profiles with a fleece coating were installed in the roof. The fleece works like a sponge, absorbing and retaining the condensation that forms. Regular ventilation of the hall is important for the functionality of the fleece in order to be able to release the moisture again. Additional skylight domes help to ensure sufficient air circulation in the hall.

Robust hall construction
Trapezoidal profiles increase theft protection and provide a typical hall character.
Over 1,400 m² space gain
The hall construction in a 5.0 m grid creates a robust, spacious warehouse in aluminium construction with a lean use of materials.
Condensation protection
The fleece coating on the underside of the roof effectively protects the stored goods against dripping condensation.
Bright hall interior
A bright hall interior is ensured by 80 metres of wall-strip windows, which were integrated into the hall façade on both sides directly below the baptismal font.
Ideal hall ventilation
A total of six skylights were installed in the rental hall, which are primarily used for ventilation. Equipped with an electric motor, they open and close conveniently at the touch of a button.
