Production building for a Swiss company
Traber Holzoberflächen AG created the most modern factory for the treatment and lacquering of wooden surfaces in Switzerland with the construction of a new 800 m² production building by HALTEC! The customised planning and equipment of the SELECT hall was particularly important.
Special attention was paid to the integration of a new painting system in the almost 10.0 metre high production building. An explosion-proof area for the warehousing of paints also had to be created within the hall, which HALTEC solved with special fire protection panels.
In addition to the equipment features essential for painting, further needs-based features were implemented to optimise the work processes. For example, HALTEC provided a total of five industrial sectional gates with height guidance, which enable convenient access to the hall. The large canopies on three sides of the production building provide additional protected areas outside.
A snow guard was also installed on the roof to ensure safety around the hall in the foothills of the Swiss Alps.
Energy-optimised and visually appealing
It was important to the client to purchase a sustainable production building. 160 mm thick sandwich panels realise very low heating costs and make the hall a state-of-the-art building in terms of energy efficiency. For an attractive appearance, the façade panels were designed with micro-lining and hidden fixings.

Lots of daylight
To allow sufficient daylight into the hall interior, almost 40 windows were installed in the façade to provide natural lighting.

External venetian blinds can be used to achieve optimum room lighting. They also provide privacy and heat protection.
Convenient access
Five large industrial sectional gates with vertical guidance provide convenient access to the production building from three sides.
Hazardous materials storage
A lean-to roof extension, clad with special fire protection panels, creates a hazardous materials store for paints and varnishes.
