Production building for a steel construction company
A steel fabricator in the Southern Palatinate needed a new production hall to expand its capacities. HALTEC was able to optimally fulfil the customer's requirements with an individually planned SELECT steel building.
As heavy loads often have to be moved during production in steel and metal construction, an overhead crane was taken into account from the outset. The load of the crane was already factored into the statics of the hall so that the crane can be attached directly to the hall scaffolding. The 5-tonne crane makes the employees' daily work much easier. A wide variety of components can be easily moved along the entire length of the hall at the touch of a button.
Several windows in the side wall, windows in the industrial sectional gate and roof light domes bring plenty of natural light into the hall. This creates a pleasant working atmosphere and saves energy at the same time. While the industrial sectional gate is large enough to allow larger vehicles to drive into the hall, the adjacent door offers employees safe access.
The hall also has some special visual features: In addition to the eye-catching red bend plates in the customer's corporate colours, the low roof pitch creates almost the modern look of a flat-roofed hall.
