SELECT Reference 129

Production building with crane runway

HALTEC realised this 2,750 m² production building with a flat roof for a mechanical engineering company in North Rhine-Westphalia. Thanks to numerous equipment details in the production building, HALTEC realised the perfect space gain. The customer's requirements were met completely.

This hall consists of two individual bays and is divided into two areas by a partition wall. Each bay is equipped with a crane runway to accommodate a 12.5 t or 25 t crane. In addition, several supports of the production building are designed to accommodate column-mounted slewing jib cranes with a radius of 5.0 m and a lifting capacity of 2 tonnes.

Customised equipment

The customised SELECT building is equipped with important and useful fixtures. The 56.0 m long row of windows in ridge brings plenty of daylight into the hall and, together with the NSHEVS system, ensures smoke extraction in the event of a fire. Ribbon windows are an ideal design element for an attractive façade. In addition, the hall was assembled on a surrounding concrete base with a steel connection. A PVC high-speed gate is the connection between the two bays. The high-speed gate's high opening and closing speed virtually eliminates waiting times in front of the gate.

Reference images and details

Representative look

With its large flat roof and microlined hall façade, the production building has an extremely attractive appearance.

Generous space gain

Each bay of the production building is just under 10.0 metres high and, with a floor area of 1,375 m², offers plenty of space for the machine manufacturer.

Partition wall between the two bays

The two bays are connected via a PVC high-speed gate with an adjacent door.

Simple hall entrances

Access to the production building is via industrial sectional gates. The gates can be conveniently opened and closed from the forklift at the touch of a button using a radio remote control.

Lots of daylight

Vertical rows of windows bring additional daylight into the production building and provide a view to the outside.

Controlled rainwater drainage

The rainwater on the flat roof drains into the sewer system via external downpipes. In the event of excessive amounts of water or a blockage, the adjacent emergency overflow ensures that the water is drained away.
