Potato storage hall for an agricultural business
A farmer expanded his business with a new potato storage hall from HALTEC. The hall was built for sorting, packaging and warehousing. The year-round sale of fresh quality potatoes could thus be secured.
This practical potato storage hall is used by an agricultural business for the various stages of potato storage - from sorting to packing and warehousing.
The 450 m² HALTEC hall is divided into two areas. The separation was realised by a gable wall partition with a sliding door. One section of the hall is used for sorting and packing, while the other dark area is used to store the potatoes. In the storage area, the potatoes have to be stored at cool temperatures. This is ensured by the hall panelling with sandwich elements.
The cantilevered canopy on the long side of the potato storage hall protects the outside area and the hall entrances from the weather. The two large industrial sectional gates ensure convenient access to the hall. Vehicles can enter the hall through the high gates during loading and unloading.
