Potato storage halls for an agricultural business in Lower Saxony

Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. This agricultural business needed plenty of space for warehousing potatoes for just three months during the harvest season. With a total of three storage tents for rent, HALTEC provided exactly the right storage facilities.

The three HALTEC BASIC storage tents, each measuring 15.00 x 52.50 metres, provided the customer with a total of 2,363 m² of new space gain. All three halls were assembled in just eight days. This was also helped by the hall anchoring with ground nails, which meant that no complex and expensive foundation work was necessary. In addition, the halls can be dismantled almost completely at the end of the rental period.

Functional equipment

Large tarpaulin sliding gates were installed in the gable walls for storing and retrieving the potato sacks. Additional single-leaf escape and pedestrian doors ensure the safe movement of people. Additional interior tarpaulins protect the stored goods from dripping condensation.

Enormous space gain

With 2,363 m² of space gain, the customer now has enough space to temporarily store all of their harvested potatoes until they are sold.

The translucent roof tarpaulins provide sufficient light for working - without the need for electricity.

Time and cost-saving anchoring

Anchoring by ground pegs meant that the halls could be erected very quickly and easily without foundations.
