Warehouse for a workshop for the disabled
Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. An increase in storage space creates completely new possibilities. This was also the case for a Thuringian workshop for the disabled. HALTEC found the perfect solution: a BASIC cold storage hall. The high-quality hall was realised quickly and cost-effectively thanks to its modular design.
The foundation offers people with disabilities a wide range of employment opportunities in its workshops - where practical and creative things are made every day. In order to create more creative space in the workshops, the decision was made to move the manufactured products into a new hall. It was clear from the outset that a solution for permanent use was needed. HALTEC hit the bull's eye with its offer of a cold storage hall. The non-insulated, 900 m² hall completely exceeded the foundation's expectations for the new storage solution. Even the company's own vehicles can be safely stored here. BASIC warehouse - important facts at a glance
- Snow load of up to 3.5 kN/m² - increased snow load near the Thuringian Forest is no problem
- Fixed dowel anchoring in on-site foundations
- Hall access via large sliding door and two escape doors
- Hall roof with interior tarpaulins - protection of the stored goods from dripping water from above
- Daylight in the hall - thanks to a translucent tarpaulin roof and two wall-strip windows
- Clean hall closure with a bend plate on the floor
