Cold hall as multi-purpose building for municipal building yard
A municipality in central Franconia is proud of its new cold hall, which is used to canopy the municipal vehicle fleet from the weather and as a storage and repair workshop. The multi-purpose use of the 375 m² cold hall is a great advantage that the municipality would not want to do without.
The time was ripe for change - after all, a municipality can only function as well as the resources at its disposal. For this reason, the priority was to create a storage facility that would keep the council's own fleet of vehicles and miscellaneous work equipment safe and secure. In the search for a suitable space solution, the choice fell on a cold hall from HALTEC - the individually planned HALTEC SELECT steel building perfectly fulfils the requirements of the municipal building yard.
The new cold hall is not only used by the municipality as a storage hall - the modern pent roof hall also serves as a workshop. In poor weather conditions, the municipal employees can retreat here and still get on with their work. All repairs and maintenance work on the vehicle fleet, equipment and municipal inventory can be carried out here without any problems. HALTEC did a great job building the new hall and more than fulfilled the client's requirements.

Generous amount of space
The large cold storage hall ensures safe and protected storage of the vehicle fleet and work equipment.
Condensation protection
The 30 mm thick sandwich elements installed in the hall roof effectively counteract the formation of condensation.
Practical hall entrances
Two large gates allow easy entry and exit - so lorries can also pass through the hall without any problems. The additional doors serve as escape doors in an emergency.
Clean floor connection
The cold hall is neatly sealed to the on-site concrete base with a bend plate. Slightly inclined, the sheet metal directs rainwater away from the hall.
