Halls can serve more than just for one purpose – the individually designed HALTEC SELECT steel halls are ideal for multiple use. A Baden-Wuerttemberg company has realized exactly this vision with HALTEC. At the new headquarters, a multi-purpose hall has been built, which efficiently combines warehouse, office and workshop.

Multi-purpose hall for efficient operations processes

The company for laundry technology wanted to do everything right from the start at the new company headquarters. It had to be a building that connects all business units in an advantageous way. The management ultimately opted for the individually planned HALTEC SELECT steel hall. In the modern design, the multi-purpose hall appears at one’s best side. The two-tone appearance of the façade also visually separates the various company divisions.

Small, but beautiful: Hall with office and workshop

In the smaller hall section with gray colouring, there is the office complex plus connected workshop. Here, the complete customer service is handled. Visitors and customers can comfortably reach the inside of the multi-purpose hall through the large, fully glazed entrance door. Arriving in the entrance area, the reception and waiting area are a successful place to start for all concerns. Offices and workshops are directly neighbouring to this area, creating shorter walkways as well as productive teamwork. Large windows light up the offices plus workshop and create a pleasant working atmosphere. Precisely, the incidence of light in the premises can be electrically controlled by additional external blinds. Especially when repairing in the workshop a good workplace illumination is essential. In the workshop area of the multi-purpose hall, you will find everything you need for repair work – tools, screws, nuts and various other small parts are stored neatly in shelves and cupboards here.

Large space: storage area with lots of potential

It becomes interesting at the individually planned warehouse, which is located in the rear white part of the hall of the multi-purpose hall. At the request of the client, a gallery was set up directly above the workshop, which HALTEC equipped with a load-bearing steel substructure. The additionally created 75 m² intermediate ceiling carries up to 500 kg / m². The space gain was perfectly implemented here on two levels and the available space was optimally exploited.

Worth mentioning is also the increased snow load of the multi-purpose hall, as the company is located in the Swabian Alb. The steel hall construction keeps things relaxed up to 2.46 kN / m² – just the perfect hall for central highlands and mountain regions!
