Movable assembly tent for archaeological work

Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. This hall order was a source of amazement for HALTEC. Germany's largest open-air archaeological museum needed a hall to reconstruct a Roman ship. A  HALTEC BASIC mobile hall turned out to be ideal.

During the archaeologists' work, it was important that they were able to access the ancient ship from above, including cranes. Wich is difficult with a normal hall that is firmly anchored in one place.

But this is not the case with the mobile hall from HALTEC. This type of hall is mounted on rails and can change its position at any time. You can find out more about how they work in the mobile halls guide article.

To keep the inside of the hall dry, additional interior tarpaulins were installed underneath the translucent roof tarpaulins to protect against condensation. A plug-in lighting system rounds off the equipment of the functional temporary building.

Always where it should be

The mobile hall enables the archaeological work to be protected, but still allows access from above once it has been moved.

Lots of space gain

The hall offers 450 m² of protected space. The translucent roof cladding allows plenty of daylight into the interior.

Practical hall access

Access is also possible with larger components via the practical tarpaulin sliding gate, which is easy to handle.

Flexibly movable

The tent is supported by rollers on the rail system. The rails cannot be protected against corrosion as they would warp when galvanised.
