Logistics building for a large parcel delivery company
With the construction of this SELECT steel building, a logistics service provider from Lower Saxony has created the best conditions for parcel shipping. With its enormous number of industrial sectional gates, the logistics building offers quick and easy loading of vans.
The large logistics building is perfectly adapted to the customer's needs with its function-specific equipment. To make loading and unloading the vans as efficient as possible, 41 manual industrial sectional gates with height guidance were realised. A viewing window allows employees to immediately recognise whether a van is at the ramp.
From the outside, the loading stations are protected from the rain by a 1.40 metre canopy.
Fire protection taken into account
The skylight domes in the roof allow plenty of daylight into the interior of the hall. They are also equipped with an NSHEVS system. They ensure smoke and heat extraction in the event of a fire.
At the rear of the hall, the logistics building was connected to a fire wall. This connects the new hall with the existing building. The new space gain is thus seamlessly connected to the existing work processes.
