Logistics building for a haulage company

With this extension, the haulage company Reinke from Baden-Württemberg is investing in 1,266 m² of additional space gain for goods storage. The company has created excellent conditions with this logistics building and is very well positioned for the future.

The haulage company wanted to create additional storage space. Together with HALTEC, a logistics building was built as an extension to the existing building. This enabled the haulage company to load even more goods in a short time under roofed conditions. However, the logistical challenge during the construction phase was that 16 of the 24 gates were always used for daily operations. HALTEC realised this with its own temporary buildings, which were used to bridge the gap between construction phases.

Customised logistics building

The numerous doors are ideal for safe loading and unloading. The door seal protects against both the weather and draughts when loading goods and helps to save energy.

Another plus point are the skylight domes, which can be opened at the touch of a button using the motorised opener. Especially in summer, this allows warm air to escape from the hall and create a more pleasant indoor climate.

The logistics building was permanently mounted on the on-site concrete base using dowels. The façade is neatly sealed to the foundation with a bend plate and sealing tape. The sandwich elements are 100 mm thick and visibly screwed to the steel substructure.

We were very satisfied with the co-operation with HALTEC, from the beginning of the planning to the acceptance of the hall.

Large extension through hall expansion

At 1,266 m², the HALTEC logistics building offers significantly more space for loading stored goods. It was built directly onto the existing building.

Bright hall atmosphere

A wall-strip window on the rear façade illuminates the hall with daylight. In the case of fire protection requirements, the wall-strip window is categorised as a melt-out area.

Efficient loading and unloading

All 24 doors of the logistics building are equipped with a door seal. This ensures safe loading and unloading.

Manually operated industrial sectional gates

The industrial sectional gates can be opened and closed easily by hand. Built-in window sections provide a view to the outside. Employees can therefore immediately see whether there is a lorry in front of the logistics building. The door leaf does not interfere with the working area thanks to the height adjustment with roof follower fitting.

Weather-protected outdoor area

A two-metre canopy directly protects the docking stations outside and gives the logistics building a special look.

Dome rooflight with NSHEVS system

The skylight domes in the roof of the logistics building ensure smoke extraction in the event of a fire. They are equipped with an NSHEVS system and also illuminate the logistics building with daylight.

Well advised. HALTEC.
