Customised steel building for a car dealership

One of the largest car dealers in the Jena region wanted to expand its business in the long term. The company wanted to expand its market position with a separate exhibition hall for Seat. HALTEC was able to optimally meet the demand with a customised and representative SELECT steel building.

It had been clear to the Thuringian car dealer for some time that the Seat brand should be presented separately from VW. The only question was: should the existing building be remodelled or should a completely new building be constructed? As the existing solid construction could not fulfil the high requirements, the client opted for a new building with HALTEC. All areas of the company were optimally accommodated in the large and clearly laid out steel building. In the front area of the car dealership, where the main entrance is also located, the exhibition area for the Seat models was realised. The glass façade with solar control glazing is an ideal design element in this hall area in particular. The large window front ensures an appealing vehicle presentation and a pleasant indoor climate. Visitors in particular feel at ease in the daylight-flooded hall.

HALTEC has integrated a second floor in the centre of the hall structure to create a large, partially shielded employee area. All office and meeting rooms as well as a cafeteria are located here. Away from customer traffic and workshop noise, employees can move around and work undisturbed.

The large workshop is located at the rear of the dealership.

Modern car dealership built economically and energy-efficiently

Horizontally laid sandwich panels in the façade not only provide a modern look, but also function primarily as efficient hall insulation. The hall was also mounted on an energy-saving floor slab from one of HALTEC's partner companies. With this clever 2-in-1 system, the underfloor heating is integrated directly into the floor slab, which shortens the construction time and reduces construction costs.

Conclusion: With the new steel building from HALTEC, the car dealership from Thuringia has created the best conditions for presenting the Seat brand. The company now has an energy-efficient hall with more space and a great look.
