Huge warehouses for a global corporation

Protection class 3 | condensation-protected. To optimise its logistics, the global company OBO Bettermann planned to move its goods closer to production. The challenge was to create a lot of storage space in a short space of time. The solution: two huge HALTEC BASIC temporary buildings.

Space gain
7,250 m²

Width
2x 25.00 m

Length
2x 145.00 m

Side height
2x 6.00 m

Ridge height
2x 9.35 m

Snow load
0.85 kN/m²

In less than 3 months from order to completion of the halls: HALTEC mastered the challenge of creating a lot of space gain quickly with flying colours. With the two 25.00 m x 145.00 m Aluflex.plus halls, OBO Bettermann now has the largest tent halls in the Sauerland region. An enormous amount of goods can be stored on a total of 7,250 m² of storage space. The halls also impress with their side height of 6.00 metres. This means that the available space can also be optimally utilised in terms of height.

Optimum transport of goods in all weathers

To ensure the safe transport of goods in all weathers, the two halls were connected by a total of three locks. These were designed in an Aluflex.classic construction. Both the hall transitions and the access routes can be closed with large trapezoidal sliding gates. Escape doors in the side walls of the halls ensure the safe movement of people.

Efficient logistics

The construction of the two BASIC temporary buildings next to the production makes OBO Bettermann's logistics more efficient.

Huge storage room

The side height of 6.00 m enables warehousing of goods at a considerable height.

Secure stand

For permanent use, the temporary buildings were anchored to strip foundations using heavy-duty dowels.

Dry goods transport in all weathers

Thanks to the three locks, goods can be moved between the halls in all weathers.

Easy access to the hall

4.80 m wide trapezoidal sliding gates make it easy to store and retrieve large goods.

Natural lighting

Wall-strip windows allow plenty of daylight into the halls. This means that the LED lighting supplied by HALTEC can often remain switched off.
