Steel building with flat roof for warehousing
Adalbert Diethelm and his wife have been running MEGA crockery rent in Switzerland for over 20 years. When the existing storage facilities became too small, the couple turned to HALTEC. The new hall perfectly fulfils all the company's requirements for their new warehouse.
With a height of just under 11.0 metres, the warehouse is ideal for warehousing crockery in high racks up to the roof. Thanks to the flat roof construction, no vertical space remains unutilised, even close to the walls. In combination with 750 m², this has created so much space gain that the company still has sufficient reserves for further growth.
The highlight of this hall: it was attached to the Diethelm couple's existing residential and company building, which means that parts of the roof can be used as a roof terrace.
The right equipment
The new SELECT steel building was also equipped with important and useful fixtures. Skylight domes in the roof provide natural lighting and, thanks to the integrated smoke and heat extraction system, fulfil fire protection requirements. Wind and rain detectors installed on the roof close the skylight domes automatically in bad weather.

Individually planned
The hall was planned so individually that it could be attached directly to the existing office and residential building.
SHEV dome rooflights
In normal operation, the dome rooflights provide natural lighting and support ventilation. In the event of a fire, they serve as a fully automatic smoke and heat extraction system.
