Customised auto repair building for a vehicle test centre

With the new HALTEC SELECT steel building, engineer Marco Krug founded his own company and opened a new vehicle inspection centre in Upper Franconia. In addition to the functional design, the hall is a real eye-catcher with many visual highlights.

Space gain
368 m²

Width
17.66 m

Length
20.81 m

Side height
5.39 - 6.84 m

Ridge height
8.31 m

Snow load
0.85 kN/m²

The new hall meets the client's individual requirements exactly. Large industrial sectional gates on both sides of the workshop allow entry and exit without manoeuvring - even for lorries. The pits built into the floor ensure an uncomplicated inspection process: even large and heavy vehicles can be easily inspected from below.

Modern appearance

From the outside, the hall with its off-centre roof ridge has an eye-catching look. The anthracite-coloured wall cladding and the red rain gutter complement each other very well and match the customer's logo perfectly. A glazed entrance door with canopy and large shop windows round off the modern hall look.

Energy-efficient planning

The off-centre ridge with different side heights has both visual and energy benefits: An additional floor for offices could be realised on the high side of the hall without having to build the actual workshop too high. This means that the energy-saving floor slab realised by a HALTEC partner does not have to heat more space than necessary.

HALTEC worked with me to realise my step into self-employment. I am very happy that my vehicle workshop has turned out exactly as I had always imagined.
