Warehouse on a site with a large slope
A company from Franconia needed a new warehouse for its paper and cardboard products. The challenge here was that the available ground had a height difference of 1.28 metres. HALTEC mastered the task with flying colours.
To prevent the hall from leaning, the length of each steel support was individually adjusted. The steel structure was thus harmonised with the sloping terrain. The hall was anchored with soil nails. This saved the customer time-consuming and expensive earthworks and foundation work.
Condensation protection was a particular focus for the hall cladding. The sandwich panels installed in the roof and walls prevent condensation from forming thanks to their insulation. Dry warehousing of moisture-sensitive goods is thus guaranteed at all times.
Further equipment features
Two industrial sectional gates, two doors with escape door fittings, three roof light domes, an LED lighting system and 40.0 metre-long wall-strip windows complete the warehouse perfectly. A bitumen sheet with a cover plate at the base serves as a simple and cost-effective floor connection. This floor connection is ideal for larger unevennesses and height differences.
