Warehouse building
A retailer of baby products from the German region of Thuringia has used this warehouse for rent to create additional storage space in order to respond more quickly on the market. The 35-m long row of windows and three dome rooflights bring natural light into the building and provide smoke extraction in the event of a fire. The dome rooflights are fitted with a natural smoke and heat ventilation system.
This warehouse for rent is anchored with ground pegs. These are inserted directly into the ground, meaning that there is no need for expensive concrete foundation work. The long setting times for concrete are also eliminated. The ground peg anchoring means that the warehouse for rent leaves hardly any trace when it is dismantled once the rental period has come to an end.
The border with the floor is formed by a bitumen sealing sheet. To ensure reliable water drainage, the asphalt surface slopes towards the outside.
