Warehouse and logistic building - Green Building
Siemens site in Hessen expanded with this big warehouse and logistic building. The Green Building hall is equipped with highly insulated sandwich panels. For fire safety reasons the entire roof covering consists of a mineral wool core. As Green Building is such a building described, which is developed under the motto of environmental sustainability. The Green Building is characterized among other things by high resource effciency, while at the same time harmful effects on health and on environment are reduced. In addition, the aim of Green Building is to reduce the amount of waste. With this warehouse building, the focus is on energy saving. Thus, the building envelope and all installations, such as row of windows in ridge, doors and windows all have particularly high thermal insulation. The access to the building takes place through high-speed gates, keeping the energy loss during entering and exiting the warehouse building as low as possible.
The 140 m long row of windows in ridge with 22 doom rooflights illuminates with windows the warehouse building with dailylight and saves the energy costs.
