Storage tent halls – profitable Storage space extension for freight forwarding company
Generous storage areas are simply a must in the logistics industry! A freight forwarding company from Kobylnica, Poland, recognized the advantages of the HALTEC BASIC halls long ago and promptly invested in four large storage tent halls for the temporary expansion of the storage areas.
Permanent order growth means that the forwarding company from northern Poland is constantly on the lookout for profitable solutions for expanding storage space. Recently HALTEC had already built a 4,000 m² BASIC tent hall on the company premises and other halls were to follow. Said and done – hall construction with HALTEC is a safe bet. HALTEC realized four additional HALTEC BASIC storage tent halls with a total of 6,000 m² of space gain quickly and at a great price-performance ratio.
And should the company one day no longer need the tent halls, they can be rented out profitably. Thanks to the foundation-free ground peg anchoring, the halls can not only be assembled quickly, but can also be removed almost without residue years later. A great plus point that makes the storage tent halls ideal for temporary use in the logistics area.
HALTEC tent halls – the specialty lies in detail
- Cost savings thanks to translucent roof tarpaulins for plenty of daylight
- Goods protection against condensation by means of interior tarpaulins in the hall roof
- Increased protection against theft thanks to robust trapezoidal profile cladding
- Cost-saving ground peg anchoring on existing ground
- Fast hall availability thanks to aluminium construction in a system design
The equipment of the storage tent halls in detail:
Hall roof
Tarpaulin roof | Thanks to translucent roof tarpaulins, there is no need for additional hall lighting during the day – this saves energy costs. Retracted interior tarpaulins protect the stored goods from dripping condensed water from the roof.
Hall access
Sliding door | The large door in the gable side of the hall enables larger vehicles, such as forklifts, to enter the hall safely.
Hall anchoring
Peg anchoring | The foundation-free anchoring by means of pegs on the existing subsurface achieves low construction costs and a quick assembly time.
Large storage area
6,000 m² of space gain | The newly acquired storage area can be used extensively. Shunting with forklifts also works smoothly – this means that goods traffic can run smoothly thanks to sufficient space.
With a total of three hall projects, the freight forwarding company realized over 14,000 m² of storage space – an enormous space gain! You can find out more about the other two HALTEC construction projects here
