Two-storey, insulated steel hall as a complex multi-purpose building
Energy efficiency played a crucial role in this new hall. The spacious SELECT steel hall with two storeys impresses with excellent insulation and efficient energy-saving floor slab. Individually planned by HALTEC, the insulated steel hall unites all corporate areas – office, exhibition, production and warehouse – perfectly under one roof.
Firmly anchored in the foundation, the new 1,799 m² HALTEC SELECT steel hall is located on the company premises of a panel manufacturer for trade fair and shop construction from North Rhine-Westphalia. Used as a multi-purpose building, all business areas come together perfectly here – starting with the exposition, to the production with warehouse, to the office complex on the upper floor. Planned individually according to customer requirements, HALTEC turned the hall into reality. Energy efficiency was very important to the entrepreneur when building the hall, to which HALTEC responded. It should be a completely insulated steel hall – including a modern energy-saving floor slab.
Insulated steel hall with excellent all-round insulation
100 mm thick sandwich panels in the hall façade and in the roof ensure optimal hall insulation. The panels are not only extremely useful in heated halls, they also create a noble hall look with their microlined external skin. To ensure that the heat generated really stays in the insulated steel hall, all of the equipment details have been installed in an insulated version:
- Thermo steel doors with increased leak-tightness
- Sectional doors with 40 mm thick hard foam panels
- Windows and shop windows with double glazing
- Row of windows in ridge with multi-layer hollow chamber profiles
Energy-saving floor slab – hall heating with added value
When it comes to hall heating, the company opted for the modern energy-saving floor slab. The heating is integrated directly into the floor slab as an energy-saving floor heating. The invisible heating version has numerous advantages – above all, the low-temperature heating is very energy-efficient because it works with low flow temperatures. The invisible heating variant has numerous advantages – above all, the low-temperature heating is very energy-efficient because it works with low flow temperatures. The radiant heat emitted is very pleasant and creates a great feel-good climate in the entire hall. Installed quickly, the energy-saving floor slab system also convinces with lower construction costs and a lower building moisture than with conventional foundations.
The company is completely enthusiastic about the new hall construction – the combination of energy-saving floor slab and hall insulation is an unbeatable system in terms of sustainability and economy.
