Snow load hall: big, tall and strong with TÜV-certified statics
A special focus in the hall construction lies on the statics – it ensures that the hall withstands all external influences. Depending on the geographical location, HALTEC designs optimum hall execution for your needs: wind-resistant halls for the coast and snow-sturdy halls for mountain regions. HALTEC realized a quick extension of the warehouse space for an Upper Bavarian ladder manufacturer by means of a HALTEC BASIC temporary building for rent. The so-called snow load hall achieved the optimum space gain – fast, economical, temporary and, above all, stable.
HALTEC high-load-bearing snow load hall
As the name says, the snow load hall withstands increased snowfall. Do not underestimate the weight of snow – snow can collapse halls. Especially when it is not about light powder snow, the crystallized water can develop great weight. For this reason, HALTEC takes into account the regional prevailing snow load zones in structural engineering already during hall planning.
This also applies to the new HALTEC hall project in the Alpine foothills – the experienced HALTEC structural engineers planned an increased load-bearing capacity right from the start. Sturdy, large and robust, the new hall should turn to the bearing warehouse surface enlargement. Increased incoming orders demanded from the ladder manufacturer a quick reaction. HALTEC quickly and reliably realized the desired space gain with the BASIC hall.
Temporary gaining space
A concrete advance planning in the long run usually turns out to be very difficult. Thus, it was clear to the entrepreneur from the beginning that it should be a snow load hall for rental. The HALTEC rental programme leaves the clients flexible – after the rental period, he is free to return the hall, to buy or to rent further. This gives the ladder manufacturer a certain amount of leeway! And should the company register a decline in orders after the end of the rental period, the hall can be almost residue-free removed thanks to earth nail anchorage and returned to HALTEC.
Execution of the snow load hall in detail:
Roof covering with PVC tarpaulins
Interior tarpaulins | The translucent roof tarpaulins not only ensure a bright hall interior, but also serve as a protection against dripping condensed water.
Snow load up to 3,5 kN/m²
High load capacity | Thanks to certified statics, the hall can withstand high snow loads safely. In addition, the PVC tarpaulin roof with its smooth surface ensures that snow can slide off more easily.
Large hall access
Sliding door | The large door on the gable wall side of the hall allows even larger vehicles, such as trucks or forklifts a safe hall entrance.
Large-scale hall use
960 m² gaining space | The newly gained warehouse area can be used in many ways. Especially the large side height allows easy set up of shelves.
