New sales hall for a better corporate image
A sales hall that provides the ideal conditions for presenting goods: This custom-designed sales hall allows the Themar-based company Südthüringer Getreide und Mischfutter GmbH to showcase itself far more effectively.
The building previously used by the company was dated, and its limitations were becoming all too apparent. In comparison, the new sales hall is a vast improvement – to the delight of employees and customers alike. A welcoming appearance, a carefully planned outdoor area with plenty of parking spaces and a fit-for-purpose delivery zone all contribute to the pleasant atmosphere. The functional equipment installed in the sales hall makes a significant impact in terms of saving energy, turning the structure into a long-lasting and sustainable building. The sales hall is clad with 100-mm sandwich panels, keeping the building cool in summer and reducing heating costs to a minimum in winter.
Large display windows and a row of windows in the façade mean there is plenty of natural light in the hall, providing the perfect backdrop for presenting goods. A glazed automatic door and a large canopy add the finishing touches to the entrance area of the sales hall. Purchased goods can be conveniently transported in a trolley to the customer's vehicle through the automatic doors. The 75-m² canopy on the gable wall protects the entrance area and the special offers on display from rain or snow. A second canopy on the side wall provides additional protection for bagged goods stored outdoors, such as potting soil.
The rear area of the sales hall accommodates the warehouse, which covers around 120 m². After delivery, goods are temporarily stored here on racks before being put on shelves in the showroom by employees. An industrial sectional gate with an integrated wicket door means the warehouse can be accessed from the outside. A gable dividing wall separates the warehouse area from the showroom on two sides.
A snow guard on the roof of the sales hall and coloured edgings perfectly round off this solution for maximising space. The HALTEC SELECT system meant that the customer was able to find the ideal sales hall for their needs.

Row of windows in the façade
The bright and welcoming showroom in the sales hall creates a pleasant atmosphere for customers and employees alike.

The 75-m² canopy protects the entrance area and the special offers on display. Purchased goods can be conveniently transported in a trolley to the customer's vehicle through the glazed automatic door.
Pivoting sashes to ventilate the hall
The 15-m row of windows allows more natural light into the showroom. Three integrated pivoting sashes can be used to ventilate the space.
Warehouse area with racks
Once delivered, goods are temporarily stored on racks in the warehouse area (which covers around 120 m²) before being transferred to the showroom. Large orders to be collected by customers are also picked and packed in the warehouse.
Industrial sectional gate with wicket door
An industrial sectional gate with an integrated wicket door means the warehouse can be accessed from the outside. The separate entrance for suppliers means that customers can continue to browse in peace.
Gable dividing wall to separate the hall
A gable dividing wall separates the warehouse area from the sales hall on two sides. Pallet trucks transport goods from the warehouse to the showroom through the industrial sectional gate.
Large canopy on the side wall
One of long sides of the sales hall features a canopy that spans its entire length and protrudes 3.0 m. Bagged goods such as potting soil can be stored underneath the canopy to shelter them from the elements, as it provides shade and protection from rain or snow.
Plastic windows with roller blinds
Roller blinds with grille sections on the windows of the sales hall reduce the likelihood of break-ins.
Custom-colour hall ends
A folded plate in a colour selected by the customer adds an attractive touch to the floor connection of the sales hall. This customer chose edging in contrasting colours to provide visual accents and highlight the ends of the hall.
