Large storage hall for protected goods storage
The business area of forwarding companies includes the storage and dispatch of all kinds of goods. A lot of space is needed for this – space for loading and unloading trucks and plenty of storage space for goods storage. A Polish freight forwarding company from Kobylnica has created a larger warehouse for more protected storage space at the company location. And with success – with 4,380 m², the HALTEC BASIC tent hall is a real space gain!
What was important to the client when building the hall was the swift implementation of the warehouse space. HALTEC scored here with its foundation-free peg anchoring across the board – not only was it possible to achieve a short installation time, but also cost savings. The large warehouse on the company premises was assembled within 10 days and now serves as a temporary storage for a customer. Due to lack of space, a regional manufacturer outsources both raw materials and finished products here. A great additional benefit for the freight forwarding company, which not only can dispatch the manufacturer's goods more easily, but also benefits from the intermediate storage.
Cleverly planned, the large storage hall offers everything the freight forwarding company needs
- Efficient goods traffic thanks to sufficient space inside and outside the hall
- Increased protection against theft thanks to robust trapezoidal profile cladding
- Energy cost savings thanks to translucent roof tarpaulins
- Dry goods storage using interior roof tarpaulins for protection against condensation
- Structured warehouse division using a separate gable in the middle of the hall
The equipment of the large warehouse in detail:
Roof construction
Tapaulin roof | Thanks to translucent roof tarpaulins, there is no need for additional hall lighting during the day. In addition, retracted interior tarpaulins direct condensed water outwards in a controlled manner.
Hall partition
Separate gable wall | The gable wall in the middle of the hall divides the large storage hall into two separate hall areas in which raw materials and manufactured goods can be stored separately.
Hall access
Sliding doors | The easy-to-use sliding doors in the longitudinal walls of the hall offer a large hall access through which even trucks can enter easily.
Hall anchoring
Anchoring with pegs | Anchoring using pegs made it possible to assemble the hall foundation-free, which could be implemented quickly and cost-effectively.
The freight forwarding company has implemented two more hall projects with HALTEC
- 6,000 m² with four HALTEC BASIC storage halls
- 4,200 m² with two HALTEC BASIC storage halls
Over the course of time, a total of over 14,000 m² of storage space has been created – an enormous space gain that allows the company looking into a successful future.
