Car workshop
A car workshop for independence. A customer from the German region of Upper Franconia set up its new company with the construction of this car workshop and opened a vehicle testing centre. The building features a striking off-centre roof ridge and red rain gutter. HALTEC has provided a functional and modern building with this custom-planned auto repair building. The base slab with energy-saving underfloor heating creates a pleasant environment inside during cold periods and underlines the individual character of this car workshop.
HALTEC joined me in the step into my self-employment. I am very glad that my workshop has become exactly what I always imagined.

The pit helps the testing engineer to take a look under the vehicle. Even large and, most importantly, heavy vehicles such as trucks and motorhomes can be inspected from below using the pit.
Large sectional gates in the car workshop allow even large vehicles to be driven in. Vehicles can be driven through the entire car workshop as there are sectional gates in both gable walls, thus saving laborious manoeuvring. The area of just under 250 m² provides plenty of space for the workshop business to test vehicles.
A double-glazed aluminium door with door canopy enhances the impressive entrance of the car workshop. The sectional gates can be opened from the outside using either the remote-control mechanism or the extending arms with pull cords.
Large display windows in the side wall and a row of windows below the rain gutter let a great deal of natural light into the car workshop. In the event of a fire, the row of windows acts as a melt-out surface and provides smoke extraction.
The car workshop is permanently anchored to the energy-saving base slab with dowels.
Customers are welcomed at the counter in the entrance area. There are further premises in the rear part of the car workshop.
The customer took care of the interior fittings for the office, kitchen and toilets.
